DAIGON Esports Announces Exciting Esports Competition for COBIS Schools!

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Esports Competition organized by DAIGON Esports, exclusively for COBIS schools! This groundbreaking event is set to commence on January 16, 2024, and promises to be a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their gaming skills and represent their schools on an international stage.
Key Highlights of the Competition
Games Lineup:
Minecraft ‘Capture the Flag’
Suitable for all age groups: U12, U15, U18
Playable on various platforms including Windows, Mac, iPad, Chromebook, and consoles
Team size: 5 players
Rocket League
Suitable for all age groups: U12, U15, U18
Requires PC/Windows or consoles like Playstation, Nintendo, or Xbox
Team size: 3 players
Squad Details:
Rocket League: 3 to 4 players per squad
Minecraft: 5 to 7 players per squad
Each school can enter up to 2 squads per game, per age bracket
Students are restricted to one squad per age group, per game
Participation Costs:
Rocket League: 90 USD per squad
Minecraft: 150 USD per squad
Age Groups:
The competition is open to Under 12, Under 15, and Under 18 categories, with a recommended minimum age of 8 years old.
Competition Dates:
The competition spans several dates, with the final showdown scheduled for March 16, 2024. Matches are set for 15:30 CET, GST, and HKT, with flexibility for other time zones based on participating schools' locations.
Prizes:
1st Prize: Trophy, branded T-Shirts, 3 Xbox Series S consoles, and a free 10-week DAIGON Esports After School Club for up to 15 students
2nd Prize: 1 Xbox Series S and a free 10-week DAIGON Esports After School Club
3rd Prize: Free 10-week DAIGON Esports After School Club
All Entrants: $299 discount on the DAIGON Esports After School Club setup
